We are looking for a candidate for our Flourens site, specifically for our HSE department:

HSE / QHSE Intern – (M/F)

Reporting to the Group Health and Safety Technician, your responsibilities will include the following:

Chemicals  

  • Identify the chemicals used in workshops and laboratories, particularly CMRs.
  • Observe workstations and analyze exposure situations.
  • Describe the tasks that expose employees to chemical agents and determine potential exposure levels.
  • Prepare proof of exposure for the affected employees.
  • Collect and analyze Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Prepare proof of exposure for the affected employees.
  • Assess risks using the internal methodology or via SEIRICH.

Safety Data Sheets

  • Draft or update job descriptions and risk assessments.

DUERP

  • Help update the Single Document (DUERP).

Other

  • Help raise awareness among teams (best practices, PPE, storage).

Required profile:

  • You are developing a two- to three-year post-secondary program in HSE/QHSE, industrial risk management, ergonomics, or occupational safety.
  • You have strong writing and summarization skills.
  • You are proficient in computer software (Microsoft Office).
  • You are independent and dynamic.
  • You feel comfortable in an industrial setting and enjoy working on-site.
