As part of our efforts to expand our teams, we are seeking a candidate for our Flourens site—specifically for our Quality Control department, which consists of approximately 60 employees—to fill the position of:

Quality Control Technician – Permanent Position (M/F)

Reporting to the department manager, you will join our Manufactured Parts Inspection department, which is fully integrated with the Company’s production departments.

As part of an experienced team and working alongside the existing process technician, you will play a key role in the organization of the Quality Control department.

You will provide, in accordance with the guidelines of the Design and/or Quality Department, reliable methods, processes, and standards to ensure effective oversight of all department activities (dimensional inspection, fatigue testing, crush testing, NDT, etc.).

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards and will actively contribute to the professional development of our teams in a demanding and stimulating environment.

You will also be responsible for organizing the monitoring and availability of control tools, in conjunction with metrology.

Finally, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for departmental issues and will actively participate in the site’s continuous improvement projects and innovative initiatives.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Managing Quality Requirements in the Aerospace Industry
    Drafting and updating documentation within the department; preparing for and participating in internal and external audits; implementing regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Ensuring the qualifications and certifications of Quality Control staff
    Defining, updating, and improving operator qualification materials; organizing and conducting assessments; and maintaining a structured system for tracking certifications and their validity.
  • Implement a management system for the tools, equipment, and supplies used by the department
    Ongoing management (purchasing, receiving, inventory) and the implementation of a structured tracking and traceability system to improve equipment availability and reduce costs.
  • Optimize processes and support teams as part of a continuous improvement approach
    Analysis of malfunctions; proposal and implementation of corrective/preventive actions; process optimization to support teams.

Required profile:

  • You have a two-year technical degree (in physical measurements, materials, quality control, mechanical engineering, or a related field) and have significant experience in the industry.
  • You are known for your critical thinking, your attention to detail, and your analytical skills.
  • You enjoy writing.
  • You are a strong communicator and have a knack for teaching.
  • You have knowledge or understanding of at least one testing technique applied to metal components: metallography, fatigue, embrittlement, crushing, shearing, hardness.
  • You are able to read and understand customer technical specifications in English.
  • You are proficient with computer software.
