As part of our commitment to the environment and continuous improvement, we are pleased to announce a major change in our manufacturing process. As of June 25, 2024, we will be replacing our dichromate passivation with a more efficient and environmentally-friendly chromium VI-free passivation.
🔄 This major change will enable us to :
- Minimizing our environmental impact through a cleaner manufacturing process
- Guarantee that our products comply with the latest health and safety regulations
- Strengthen our position as an eco-responsible leader in our sector
The new passivation we are introducing is REACH Compliant, thus complying with European regulations to protect human health and the environment from the risks associated with chemical substances.
🔩 Passivation standards replaced :
- AMS2700 type 2 (dichromate passivation) replaced by AMS2700 type 8 (chromium VI-free passivation)
- EN2516 type C1 replaced by EN2516 type C7
